About the role
The Operations Director is responsible for managing and optimizing hotel operations, ensuring quality service in line with global standards. They contribute to the pre-opening in early 2027 and the efficient operation of a hotel with at least 100 rooms. Position open for DOP track followed by hotel General Manager experience. Upon successful completion, will become GM for opening and will work with HR to find their replacement.
Duties & responsibilities
Reduce operational costs while maintaining quality service.
Work with the marketing and sales departments to maximize occupancy rates and customer satisfaction.
Oversee operational teams and ensure their continuous training. Establish performance reports and analyze key indicators to improve operations.
Manage relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure service quality.
Quality control: Implement and maintain service quality standards by conducting regular audits and taking corrective measures as necessary.
Pre-opening of the hotel: Oversee all pre-opening stages, including setting up operational processes and training staff.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Budget and resource management: Manage operational budgets, optimize costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
Hotel operations management: Ensure the smooth functioning of hotel services, paying attention to service quality and customer satisfaction.
Planning and organization: Develop operational and strategic plans to achieve performance and quality objectives.
Who we are looking for
Experience
- 15 years of experience in the hospitality sector.
- Proven and mandatory experience in pre-opening of hotels with at least 100 rooms. Disqualifying criterion.
- 2 to 3 years as Operations Director.
Education
- Hotel diploma.
- Degree in management.
